Due to the decision to turn off rainmaker rewards is no longer makes sense to continue offering the $BANANA 🍌 market in the Lending Network.
BANANA requires multiple transactions per day to keep running because it needs a different type of price oracle than the other markets. This would allow our incredible partner Ola to stop spending money on the BANANA TWAP as it would not be needed to support the safety of the lending network.
What does this mean:
➡️ BANANA can no longer be supplied or borrowed.
➡️ BANANA already supplied won't count as collateral but will still generate an APR.
➡️ BANANA already borrowed still needs to be repaid.
All other markets will remain open and available. The BNBx supply has also been paused indefinitely due to its lack of use.
